I - Spy Ayten Gasson

 

 

Hey Everyone, Welcome to our 3rd Beautifully Undressed Blog post and our first 'Brand Focus' or 'I-Spy' as we call it here :) And we're 'i-spying' the wonderful Luxury lingerie brand Ayten Gasson. I came across Ayten Gasson's lingerie a year ago when I embarked on my Beautifully Undressed adventure and I remember thinking,  that out of a select number of brands I had my eye on, that I wanted to stock Ayten Gasson's products on my site and a year on, here we are.

 

Ayten Gasson launched in the summer of 2005, and the luxury lingerie label soon became recognized in the UK not only as a luxury lingerie label but for its firm commitment to supporting the UK fashion industry. Known for her signature styles, such as the open backed kimono, skirted knicker and the most recognised – the silk teddy (top of my must-have list). I found her ethos and belief in the label 'made in the UK', particularly endearing so when I decided to put together our Beautifully Undress Me Valentine Gift Box, I knew that the perfect Gift box would have to be made up of luscious silk fripperies from Ayten.  To top it all when I spoke to Ayten,  she was so lovely and said that not only would she be delighted for us to be one of her stockists;  but that she would produce her classic Silk Black Eye Mask in red exclusive to Beautifully Undressed.  I was won over and and within a few days, a little box of sunshine arrived at our HQ!

With an eye for the exquisite and help from the Princes Trust, Ayten a graduate of Central Saint Martin’s, launched her lingerie label with a desire to highlight  the traditional manufacturing skills which the UK was once renowned for. Her stunning SS13 Classic Collection is one to watch for and we will certainly be introducing  a few more sumptuous pieces from this collection at Beautifully Undressed. In the meantime we have her seductive  Classic Silk Black cuffs for the more adventurous ones out there!

And the lovely Maisie Side Tie Knicker in Black and sexy Red, perfectly priced at £36.  This beautiful silk knicker features a semi sheer panel at the rear made from a delicate black English lace. The knicker is tied at the sides by long soft satin ribbons.

 

All in all I can't say enough about Ayten Gasson and adore our mini collection. I really look forward to adding more delectable pieces ( teddies) to our boutique and to introducing her brand to a new audience worldwide but particularly West Africa - Ghana and Nigeria - where the women love anything with the tag 'Made in the UK', because one is guaranteed quality,  style and design excellence.
