I - Spy Fleur of England

It's been so busy here at Beautifully Undressed HQ, with our energy spent on the AW13 buying season.  But now that it's more or less over and in theory we're now into Spring Summer 13 - not that you'd think it with snow and freezing temperatures in parts of the UK.  So, we were determined to see in Spring with a bang, as we launched the gorgeous Wild at Heart collection from iconic British brand Fleur of England last week.

Fleur of England is one of the most exclusive design houses in the UK. Quintessentially British, this brand is inspired by all things British culture and heritage.  The Founder, Fleur Turner, describes her style as ‘romance with a splash of sauce’. Established in 2001 as 'Fleur T', and re-branded in 2008 to Fleur of England, to reflect 'the true essence of British luxury', Fleur of England is renowned for bringing luxurious fabrics, beautiful styling and exceptional fit to lingerie. Using fabrics and trims from all over the world, Fleur and her designers create beautifully crafted garments that fit perfectly, flatter the body and look stunning and can only be described as 'exquisite'.   

In fact, Fleur says of her designs "If it is not exquisite it will not leave the door"  With a following of celebrities such as Liv Tyler, Sarah-Jessica Parker, and Rhianna and stocked in some of the most exclusive shops in the world, including Liberty of London and New York's favorite luxury department store, Barneys;  we didn't think twice about including this fabulous brand within our repertoire of high end lingerie designers. I met Fleur and her team last February during the Trade Fair season, firstly at the Lingerie Collective SS12 show, then again at the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris -  and instantly fell in love with the brand and the ethos.  Very much at the high end of the market, we're talking the best silks and lace from all over the world, you are assured quality and unparalleled luxury - but we believe, worth every penny.  And I remember receiving our first Fleur of England delivery with absolute excitement - it was like Christmas but in April! We launched Beautifully Undressed with a small but stunningly beautiful selection from Fleur of England's SS12 collections, titled 'Lime', 'Love' and 'Naked' and we featured all the collections in our first and  highly successful Beautifully Undressed promotional launch shoot and video.  Shot in Marbella, our gorgeous models, Ane and Maribel fell in love with the pieces, not wanting to take them off at the end of the shoot!

The Fleur of England collection's are based around five distinct moods or feelings: 'fiercely feminine; powerful; romantic; playful and luxurious' and the latest collection  'Wild at Heart' embodies the realm of fiercely feminine and we adore this collection.

Described as 'playful' and 'provocative' it, certainly got our hearts racing - with the BU team already indulging in a few pieces. The in- house designed Zebra print on luxurious silk combined with a beautiful sheer black Austrian lace, evokes the mood of seduction and strength.  The 'Wild at Heart Silk and Lace Body' is the perfect inner as outerwear piece, teamed with hot heals and jeans, it is the ultimate fashion statement. The Wild at Heart Plunge bra and Derriere brief are the perfect combination of flirty and seductive.  The under-wired bra is made from the Austrian lace, with double lace layering, but it is designed to give plenty of support and natural uplift in the bottom cup and the bespoke zebra print silk satin straps adds striking drama to this demure stunner. We love this collection and believe it is a must have treat to your spring wardrobe, but one that works stunningly well in the summer and perfect for winter injections of fierceness!
