Blame it on Rio!

Wow!  Where do I begin?  It seems like a while since our last post, but so much has been happening at BU HQ that it's been near impossible to take a few moments to put down words to paper.  But it's a super exciting time, with amazing trips taken to Rio,  and plans in full swing for our launch event in Lagos Nigeria, as part of Butterscotch Evenings, where we'll be taking Burlesque performer Immodesty Blaize to open our first fashion show (more to come in a later post) . So with spring time finally arriving in the UK, it's the perfect time to take stock and reflect on milestones and achievements. We have lots of wonderful goodies coming to Beautifully Undressed, from existing brands on our lingerie loving shelves to fantastic new brands coming on board such as Sonata and Lascivious, which went live on the site today with the delicious classic 'Kitty'.

Plus with Summer on it's way, we felt it was the perfect time to launch swimwear on the site, and we're going to be working with hot swimwear brand Paolita.  We just love this this brand and it will be available at Beautifully Undressed at the end of May.

And so to escapades in Rio.... To highlight some of the new additions to Beautifully Undressed we headed to Rio de Janeiro, to shoot our second brand lifestyle video and shoot.  Rio is Time Magazine's, No 1 destination, so we were super excited when the opportunity came to visit.

Armed with Spring/summer delights and fripperies from Mimi Holliday, Fleur of England, Claudette and our newest brand (soon to launch) Sonata, we headed to Posto 6 on Copacabana Beach, with our stunning model K and photographer, Martin.  Our amazing crew were up at the crack of dawn to get the best light, and although tired, we were buoyed up by the thought of shooting our second video and brand shoot in such an amazing location.  It was completely worth the hard work and we'd like to thank everyone involved for making our shoot in Rio a truly memorable experience.
