Beautifully Undressed Launched to Nigerian Market at Star Studded Event

Friday night on the 17th May 2013, Beautifully Undressed, launched to the Nigerian market at the shimmering Butterscotch Evenings.  Lagos' elite society all turned out to enjoy an evening of entertainment from worldwide talent such as Johnny Gill and Bill Bellamy as well as local stars, Praize and Waje. Guests were wined and dined by Italian master chef Aldo Zilli and the Sicilian Chef, Enzo Oliveri, and of course, Beautifully Undressed thrilled onlookers with a seductive show kicked off by burlesque siren, Immodesty Blaize.

Following Blaize's titillating strip tease the Beautifully Undressed models commenced a 4-scene catwalk extravaganza styled by Lingerie Stylist, Tamar Kendall  in association with Crystal Deroche and the show was produced by Paul Swaby from Live Fashion Productions:  The themes were:

Dark & Directional – the kinkiest lingerie from brands including,  Maison Close, Fleur of England and Kriss Soonik and tools for seduction around from Fraulein Kink.

In stark contrast to Dark and Directional came, Beautiful Bridal– a soft and romantic palette of ivory, golds and delicate , delicate pinks and creams, from brands like Sonata, Dirty Pretty Things and Mimi Holliday.

Seductive Swimwear –  got the audience into the carnival mood as the models danced to the stomping soundtrack in the hottest trend led swimwear on the shore from super hot brands, Paolita, Nicole de Carle and Kriss Soonik.

And the finale set the stage alight with Bold & Beautiful – bright, bold and daring lingerie made to be seen in.

We featured the hottest of independent design talent, from the likes of; Claudette, Dentelle etc..., Dirty Pretty Things, Ell & Cee, Fleur Of England, Kriss Soonik, Lascivious, Maison Close, Mimi Holliday, Shelle Belle Couture and soon to launch on the site, Nicole de Carle, Paolita, and Sonata.  Special thanks to all the brands for supporting us in this fantastic venture.

The show was brought to a spectacular close, again by Immodesty Blaize who flaunted more wonderful lingerie design alongside the Beautifully Undressed runway models.

The crowd went wild for what has been described as, “Nigeria's most fabulous runway show.”

We continue to be a unique online lingerie destination international in both its thinking and branding  and based on the reaction to our launch there is a strong and vibrant desire and market for luxe lingerie and loungewear from the most dynamic European brands in West Africa.  So we will be showcasing at further events in West Africa throughout the year and launching our first collection soon.

It was a truly breathtaking experience and it was such a pleasure to work with so many wonderful people - Immodesty Blaize (it was an honour to work with her and to know that Beautifully Undressed brought Burlesque to Nigeria is something really to shout about!).
